1. Congenital heart disease

Congenital heart disease or defects occur when our heart experiences one or more abnormalities in our heart. Congenital heart disease is a disease that is present at birth. This is because of the abnormal formation of a child’s heart during fetal development. There are mainly various types of congenital heart disease but they can be dived into 3 types such as :

A. Septal defects

When there is a hole between 2 chambers of the heart. The whole puts pressure on the heart to work harder and it affects as high blood pressure.

B. Obstruction defects

It is basically blood vessel defects. The arteries and veins that work continuously to carry Blood through various chambers of the heart are partially or totally blocked. This can slow or block the blood flow, leading to serious health complications.

C. Cyanotic defects

Which is a defect in the heart? This interferes with the heart’s ability to pump blood correctly.

2. Arrhythmia heart disease

It is when our heartbeats irregularly, too fast or too slow. It occurs when the electrical impulses don’t work properly. Arrhythmia can become fetal. There are several ways a heartbeat its regular rhythm such as :

  • A heart can beat slowly.
  • A heart can beat fast.
  • Abnormal heartbeats.
  • Irregular heartbeats.

3. Dilated cardiomyopathy

When our heart chamber becomes delated and as a result, it occurs heart muscle weakness and can not pump blood properly. The oxygen does not reach properly at the heart muscle because of coronary artery disease.

4. Heart attack

This is also known as myocardial infarction or cardiac infarction. Basically, it destroys the heart’s muscle and this is usually caused by a blood clot that develops in the coronary arteries.

5. Heart failure

Heart failure occurs when the heart doesn’t pump blood in the body sufficiently. It doesn’t affect both sides of the heart but it affects one side of the heart.

6. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy

It is the leading cause of sudden death in most of the athletes. Basically, it is a genetic problem in which our heart makes it hard to pump the blood in the body.

7. Pulmonary stenosis

This makes hard for the heart to pump the blood from the right ventricle into the pulmonary artery. The right ventricle suffers a lot to overcome the obstruction.

CABG is the most common type of heart surgery. The doctor may order this surgery to treat severe Coronary artery disease. These arteries supply oxygen-rich blood to the heart.

  • Transmyocardial laser revascularization

This surgery used to treat angina. Angina is a discomfort or chest pain. This treatment used when no other treatments work. During this surgery, the doctor uses small channels through the heart muscle and into the left chamber.

  • Heart replacement
To flow blood in one way our heart valve makes it possible to keep our heart healthy. Heart’s healthy valve opens and closes in its own healthy way as the heart pumps blood.

Preventions for the heart disease

Some types of diseases of the heart can be prevented which is not genetic. People must follow these tips to prevent future heart problems and the recent disease of the heart such as :

1. Healthy diet

A healthy diet that is full of protein, fiber, minerals, and vitamins can help to prevent heart disease and also can cure many heart problems such as blood pressure and cholesterol problems.

2. Workout

30 minutes of workout can change our lifestyle. Workout keeps our body active and our heart healthy. So it’s very important to work out at least 30 minutes a day.

3. Good sleep

A complete and enough sleep helps to keep our blood pressure normal and our brain muscle healthy. Always try to have 8 hours of sleep every day.

4. Don’t smoke

To keep our heart disease away from our lives it’s very important to stop smoking. Smoking drastically affects our heart disease.

5. Stop alcohol

Alcohol has no protein but it contains a high amount of sugar which affects our heart badly. Try to stop drinking alcohol or minimize the amount.

Bottom line

The disease of the heart becomes one of the biggest reasons for death for the entire world. The most common type of heart disease is coronary artery heart disease. Research has shown that obesity, too many medications, Restless leg syndrome, smoking, and alcohol are the major reasons for heart disease.
